Mobile Is a Serious Development Environment Now

Modern phones are powerful, always-with-you computers — and they deserve tools that treat them that way.

For years, mobile devices were seen only as consumption screens — not tools for creation, thinking, or building.

That has changed.

Modern smartphones have:

  • powerful CPUs and GPUs
  • high memory ceilings
  • always-on network access
  • instant notification and background execution

And more importantly: Work has moved out of the office and in between moments.

We write ideas on the train. Review code during lunch. Check pull requests in bed.

Think during walking. Make decisions on the go.

Mobile is no longer a secondary device. It's the closest device to us when we have the idea.

This is why we invest in mobile-first development tools.

Not to replace desktop — but to extend the developer's presence.

A developer should be able to:

  • respond to a build issue
  • adjust a plan
  • review an execution step
  • restart a workflow

from their phone — without friction.

Not full IDE replacement. No forced complexity.

Just real agency, wherever you are.

That is the future of portable computing.

And we are building for it.
