How We Think About AI Assistants in Real Work

AI tools are companions, not replacements — they accelerate good judgment, they don't remove it.

AI assistants are not magic workers. They are tools — and like every tool, they have strengths and limits.

An AI model can:

  • analyze patterns quickly
  • rewrite and restructure code cleanly
  • enumerate options and reasoning paths
  • save hours of repetitive thinking

But it cannot:

  • know your product vision
  • understand every nuance of your team's style
  • replace judgment
  • replace ownership

So we design AI assistants to support, not to control.

We encourage:

  • review before use
  • conversation instead of command
  • guidance instead of trust-by-default

We don't want AI that says: “Here is the answer.”

We want AI that says: “Here is what I found — what would you like to do with it?”

Humans guide direction. AI accelerates steps.

This balance matters. Because the best work still comes from thinking, deciding, and caring.

AI can be powerful. But you make it meaningful.
